The 4mm Bipolar Hybrid Active TURP Set is a specialized urological surgical instrument used for Transurethral Resection of the Prostate (TURP) and other soft tissue resections. It is engineered with hybrid technology, allowing surgeons to seamlessly switch between monopolar and bipolar applications using standard compatible electrosurgical generators and 4mm rigid telescopes.

Key Features & Technical Details:

Bipolar Technology: The electrical circuit is localized entirely at the tip of the electrode. This allows the safe use of conductive normal saline (NaCl) as an irrigation medium, dramatically reducing the risk of Transurethral Resection (TUR) syndrome.

Active Working Element: Designed for precise, mechanical back-and-forth movement to drive the electrode forward for tissue cutting and backward for coagulation. 

360 Rotatable Sheath: Features a rotating double-sheath continuous-flow system. The inner sheath rotates independently of the outer sheath, minimizing friction and maximizing the surgeon's freedom of movement in the cervical/urethral channel. 

Telescope Compatibility: Specifically engineered to fit standard 4 mm rigid endoscopes (typically with 0 or 30 directions of view). 

Versatile Electrode Options: Fully compatible with a variety of interchangeable electrodes such as Cutting Loops, Cold Knives, Collins Knives, and Roller/Ball electrodes. 

Material and Maintenance: Constructed from high-quality, medical-grade stainless steel. It is fully reusable and autoclavable.
